Faogen stands for Fast Ambient Occlusion Generator. It's a small tool for baking ambient occlusion of 3D models into textures or per-vertex colors. First version was released in 2006, and after two years of active development it was eventually suspended.
But now it returns as Faogen 3. Powered by modern 3D GPUs it bakes ambient occlusion even faster and with higher quality. Right now it's Windows-only, but Mac port is planned after final Faogen 3 release.

Faogen 3.0.47 - unwrap UV coordinates
Published on Tue, 19 May 2015 11:47:10 +0300
This build adds ability to unwrap UV coordinates of any loaded mesh. This function is available through the right-click menu in the scene objects list.
Now you can bake the texture AO for models which didn't have a valid UV mapping. Just generate a new set of UVs with the new Unwrap function.
And don't forget to save a geometry with new UV coordinates in addition to baked textures.
